Video - The Microjoint
Today we will talk about another very common process, the micro-joining of components in the nesting.
Micro-joints keep our parts attached to the main sheet just enough to allow us to keep working without losing them.
- There are various solutions to manage micro-joints, the most common is to place them at the corner or the side of our component.
- The most common tool used in micro-joint is the rectangle we use for cutting the perimeter of the component.
- Another solution to manage the micro-joint without leaving nibble marks is to use a special tool that cuts on the micro-joints left by the cutting tool.
