How to clean CO2 laser optics?
Lenses are fundamental tools of laser cutting, also important is their cleanliness, in order to maintain their effectiveness and extend their life.
It is really important to clean the operative parts of the cutting head before removing the lens. when you pull out the cartridge we suggest to close it quickly with the tape included in our cleaning kit, so that there won’t be contamination of the interior part.
In order to properly clean the lens, we suggest that you use dehumidified compressed air to remove the surface impurities,then proceed with cleaning the lens by using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol.For this reason we added this product to our kit.
